SERIOUS Paranormal was created in 2013 by Beth Pinotti and Lesla Settle. Both with a lifetime fascinated by the paranormal, Beth has over 22 years experience and Lesla over 20 years investigating and documenting activity. Both Louisville natives, we have enjoyed investigating many local haunts and beyond together. The team was formed not only to satisfy our own curiosity of how these events happen, but to also help educate people who are experiencing these events that may have nowhere else to turn. We have always had the pleasure of working with a trustworthy team of investigators with that same intention. That is a blessing in this field.

We are proud to have some of the most professional, local researchers and investigators on our team. Jay Gravatte, Betsy Darby, Ashlynn Gillespie,  Susan Baucom and Emily Baucom

each bring their unique backgrounds, beliefs, experiences, talents and uplifting personalities to help us continue to love what we do.  We have all worked hard to acquire the education, equipment and experience we need for scientific analysis of possible paranormal activity. Our investigators have the knowledge and tools to document and determine if events have no other rational explanation.

Between us, we have researched hundreds of cases and have had the opportunity to help many families experiencing activity in their homes.  Although every investigation is so different, the basis of all our investigations is the same. We try to understand the history, investigate the area for anomalies in the energetic field using scientific methods, then document any activity or interactive communication that we can't explain and try to locate its source. If we can offer help in any way to spirit or our clients, we will always do so.

All of us also enjoy doing public events, such as lectures and paranormal tours and while we take what we do very seriously (hence the name), we all tend to bring a positive, lighter approach to investigating some of these darker realms. We are always respectful and our clients, anyone who has attended one of our events or investigated with us knows we tend to bring our sense of humor with us during an investigation. But sometimes laughter can be quite a healing force and we choose to travel with love and light into the darkness.

We welcome and often get the opportunity to work with others in the paranormal field as well.  We feel it is important to share information, techniques and experiences. Learning from others is beneficial to all of us and those we help.
